ABOUT

The goal of Ardrey Kell High School's Virtual College & Career Center (VC3) is to provide students with information and resources that will help them to plan their future after high school.  Whether a student will attend a four- or two-year college, community college, enter the workforce, take time to travel or study abroad, we intend to provide relevant, timely, and accurate information.

VC3 can be used to help navigate the college planning process, testing & career assesment options, scholarships, financial aid information, career opportunities, summer activities, volunteer and internship opportunities and more!

In the fast-paced, ever-changing world in which we live, new information abounds.  Please use this website as a resource, but know that it provides an expansive not exhaustive information bank from which you can begin to prepare for a successful, fufilling, and meaningful career.

Finally, should you have any questions about VC3 resources, please feel free to touch base with Ardrey Kell's new Career Deelopment Coordinator, Mr. Brandon Webb.

CAREER DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR
Mr. Brandon Webb

CAREER DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR

Mr. Webb joined Ardrey Kell High School's staff in August 2014 as a school counselor. He switched roles to the Career Development Coordinator in August 2018.  He is excited to work with the wonderful AK students, families, and community.

Mr. Webb has been involved in education for over 15 years in some capacity. After graduating from Eastern Illinois University in 2001 with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology, he decided to join his former High School as a substitute teacher and coach. He took on many different roles for the school along with taking a job for one of the biggest Physical Therapy companies in Illinois. He wanted a bigger role in education so went back to get his Masters in School Counseling at National Louis University. Mr. Webb found his way to North Carolina in 2013 taking a job at Hibriten High School in Lenoir, NC. He knew he wanted to be near a big city, so he was happy to accept the offer from CMS in 2014. Mr. Webb is also the head Women's Cross Country Coach and one of the Track coaches. He has enjoyed his time at AK and looks forward to many more great years.
